Composition

As the world evolves, the original purpose of the Treasurers Roundtable remains imperative. We are a close-knit community of global treasury leaders from mission-driven organizations operating in developing countries. Our network continues to grow and currently is comprised of 500 senior professionals from over 200 organizations including practitioner organizations (e.g., NGOs, foundations, and universities), provider organizations (e.g., financial institutions, foreign exchange/payment specialists, and treasury technologists), and affiliates (e.g., think tanks, academia, bilateral/multilateral agencies/donors, and advocacy/industry groups).

Origin

The Treasurers Roundtable, originally called the Association for Global Development Treasurers, was formed in 2011 to provide a safe place for treasury leaders of global organizations to share challenges, experiences, and best practices of treasury management. That first year, a handful of treasurers from non-governmental organizations (NGOs) began to meet annually to discuss common issues and learn from one another via peer exchanges and deepened relationships.

Aim

The Treasurers Roundtable creates invaluable opportunities for engaging in cutting-edge dialogues, collaborating for practical problem-solving, leveraging cross-sector relationships, and driving strategic direction for the global development sector. To tackle accelerating global risks, the Treasurers Roundtable aims to craft treasury management solutions that drive operational excellence, innovation, and integration, all while protecting our organizations and our local community programs.
