This will be the first in a series of technology webinars, with a broad focus that will cover subjects ranging from Trading Systems, Treasury Management Systems, Last Mile Delivery, leveraging other technical capabilities etc.  One of the sessions will set out to cover strategic considerations of senior management within an NGO around innovation and the intention is also to consider the use of technology in practical implementations on the ground in some very difficult countries.

For this first session, the planned agenda items to be covered are as follows:

  • Overview of the planned webinars on Technology (Kathryn Powers)

  • A large Donors perspective on 2024/25 programming, plus the use of technology in the delivery

  • What challenges face NGOs and what type of solutions are they looking for (a large US NGO)

  • Challenges for Financial Service Providers and some solutions being developed (Crown Agents Bank)

  • Working with local partners to deliver Last Mile solutions, including governments, banks, NGOs, Merchants, Mobile Network Operators (Paycode Founder)

  • Raising the bar on technology solutions for International Development Organisations (Paycode CEO)
